Highly recommended, the hotel is immaculately clean, as are the rooms. Great location for access to the village and the surrounding area. Can't fault the food, which is always fresh and well presented. The hotel staff are a pleasure to be around, always attentive and just as important smiley and fun. The restaurant staff are efficient and helpful. We did the boat trip to Preveli, with a picnic provided by the hotel, this is also highly recommended. All in all a lovely hotel and well worth considering if you're visiting this part of Crete.

Fabulous stays. Personalized and very attentive welcome throughout the stay until the little gift at the end of the stay. Remarkable cleanliness of the room and common areas. Excellent buffets, varied and introducing a multitude of Cretan specialties. The service is very professional, the very attentive waiters speak very good English. We were also able to communicate in Spanish with Shi of whom we have an excellent memory! Memorable boat excursion offered by the hotel. Deserted beach in the middle of August with luxurious lunch prepared gluten-free at our request. We are really delighted with all the services of this establishment

If the gods smiled in your favor you couldn't have a better experience. From a landscape and architectural design perspective the hotel is beautifully situated giving you curated views of the award winning Plakias beachfront. The choice of flora on the site includes a variety of local plant species mixed with English style hedges. There is a pool, terras and play area outside where you also have lemon and pomegranate trees. This habitat invites owls and other birds to come visit. The courtyard in the center of the hotel respects the existing pine and palm trees and also allows one to keep an eye on your kids in the lobby while relaxing outside. The rooms are clean and the balcony is protected by the trees while also giving a view. They have kids activities planned which gives parents a chance to relax. A couple of nights per week they have traditional music from Crete and those that know the traditional dances lead the way. The staff is super helpful and the owners a beautiful family. A great family vacation.

Very nice hotel with excellent staff
Very nice hotel. Room was comfortable and staff was nice. Walking distance to town. We had breakfast and dinner included because we were scheduled to be hiking and didn't want to look for dinner when tired from the hike and drive. Surprisingly good with large buffet style dining. Breakfast was also nice. Parking was next to hotel. The front desk went well above the norm on an issue, trying to find a solution to something that had nothing to do with the hotel.

Our 2nd time staying at Alianthos Garden. A wonderful family run hotel and you can tell how passionate they are to look after their guests. Location is excellent. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Spotlessly clean. Rooms and bathrooms could do with an update but I believe this is happening in 2026. Cannot wait to return.

Very nice place on the beach within walking distance to anything you may need. Our rooms were upgraded to the apartment upon arrival. The ladies at the front desk were awesome. Very kind and easy to work with. It is a Very nice and spacious accommodation. We also elected the breakfast and dinner option here. Every day the options were different and you had plenty of variety to choose from. It was nice to be able to sit back and relax for a few days and not have to go looking for something to eat. Would def book this place again.

We have be staying at Alianthos Garden for 20days. Just to describe it - PERFECT!
We arrived at 2:30am in the morning after horrible flight schedules and airport chaos. We have been welcomed with a smile and started holidayfeeling right away.
A medical issue has been corrdinated on sunday evening just perfect for me, THANKS again.
The entire staff, everybody (!) including housekeeping - superfriendly, superhelpful and the rooms perfectly prepared. Little issues like bulb replacement - within minutes

All in all, some 5 star hotels managers should visit the hotel to feel what makes hospitality. Hospitality starts with the warm hearted staff and not with hip and nicely modern gadgets, it is the overall habit and a summary of all.
We will get back - like others - as we have seen.

The standard of service was excellent in all parts of the hotel . And one was made to feel a valued guest at all times . The atmosphere was so friendly & welcoming and the hotel had a real family feel about it. The food was superb a d there was always a huge variety of dishes to choose from. It was a wonderful stay .

Wonderful hospitality, friendly clean and convenient accommodations, and one of the best buffets we’ve seen anywhere in the world! Close to the beach at Preveli and restaurants and shopping in town. Great staff and happy guests. Highly recommended

The hotel has a great location in the city center, surrounded by numerous shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean and serviced daily. The view from the window is beautiful, overlooking the mountainous landscape. The food is good, and everyone will find something to enjoy.

The restaurant: far, far away to be compared to these big-menu-all the same food. There is for every taste something wonderful and tasty. Local Food, Salad, Pasta, Menu, Fresh Cooking, and so on.

The food is excellent, featuring Greek elements with creative menus that incorporate traditional flavors. We stayed for five days and were never bored. There is also a good variety for vegetarians, but the locally sourced meat is outstanding. My husband appreciated the break from cooking for the family! 😊

Breakfast and dinner buffet was outstanding

Breakfast was one of the best hotel buffets I've ever experienced, with a wide variety of breakfast items including eggs 3 ways, waffles, pancakes, fruit, veggy spreads, pastries, breads.......anything you could imagine for breakfast! The staff were attentive, welcoming, and efficient.

An absolutely wonderful place! While visiting Crete, we stayed in several locations/hotels. This one totally surprised us—a beautifully integrated hotel with a garden, attention to every detail, etc. A 5-star welcome. A spacious room with a view like in the movies, with windows that slide into the wall and mosquito nets! A clothes dryer, large bottles of shower gel so you don't lose small bottles while bathing.

Nice holidays in alianthos garden Plakias. Rooms were very comfortabel. Very clean. Very friendly People. For any problem, a solution is foundation. Food (breakfast and dinner) is very tasty. A lot of choice. Many thanks to the kitchen team. We felt at home from the first day. We enjoyed the greek music nights every week.

The staff were very friendly, everything was very clean, and the restaurant offered a varied and excellent selection! The room was great and the hotel was very quiet. It was perfect!

Food buffet was great with many many options. Bed comfort was excellent. The shower pressure is very high so you could get a massage sort of while showering.

Great Car Rental Experience
Really happy with the whole process – everything went smoothly from start to finish, and the service was top-notch. Super transparent, no hidden surprises, and even when we returned the car a bit later than planned, it was no issue at all. Our little VW Up was a reliable companion for the past two days, but next time we might treat ourselves to the next class up. Would definitely rent here again!

Everything good. Car has some minor bumps but everything works perfectly fine, the ride is quiet and comfy. Would recommend for sure. We had a VW Polo for 2 days and made around 350km in total. Car was basicly brand new.

First of all, a big thank you to Andreas for his availability and kindness.
During our previous stays in Crete, we used to rent a car at the airport.
This was a big mistake, as most of the time the vehicles were old and poorly maintained.
In contrast, the Prevelli fleet is modern and very well maintained, so you feel safe.
Don't hesitate to get the horsepower you need to navigate the winding and steep roads of Crete, otherwise your wife will have to push from behind to climb the most difficult hills...😅
Gentlemen who are not macho like me will have the right to do the same thing... if they take the risk of letting their wives drive...😂🤣😇
